OAF database connection

OAF first time user create a database connection so here showing some screen shorts please follow the steps

FIRST U OPEN your  JDEVELOPER you can FIND the 2 FEALDS

1.WORKSPACE

2.CONNCTIONS

SHOWING THE BELLOW IMAGE

THE FIRST TIME USER CAN CTEATE THE CONNECTION SO CREATE THE CONNECTION

RIGHT CLICK THE CONNCETION

SELECT THAT NEW DATABASE CONNECTION

When you click that option bellow window is open

Press Next button

Write your connection name and connection type is oracle (jdbc)

 Then press Next button

Enter your database login name

Username=APPS

Password=APPS

Role is not mandatory

Here we

Driver=thin

Host name= oracle.apps.com(give the name ebz login url)

Jdbc port=1521(its automaticlay taken)

Sid=vis

Press Next

when you press the test connection the test is pass at the result is success other wise the test is fail

Note:-when the test is fail mostly the host name is wrong enter at time only the test is fail

After success press Next button

And finish

Now the database connection is successfully completed
